First time blogger

Good afternoon to all our Shreveport Metropolitan Concert Band followers. I am going to take a shot a blogging periodically to give some band background, music/composer highlights and maybe even some band member tidbits (if they will let me). Not sure how often I will be on here but I will try to make it at least weekly.
